About The Association



"Taiwan Advanced Automotive Technology Development Association" (TADA) was proposed by Frank Huang, President of Powerchip Group. A total of 30 representatives from the ICT industry were invited to act as initiators. It was authorized by the Ministry of Interior in accordance with relevant law.

The purpose of the association is to promote and integrate Taiwan's ICT industry into the advanced automotive industry, enhance the international competitiveness of the advanced automotive industry in Taiwan, and drive the supply chain of Taiwan’s ICT industry to be the next trillion dollar industry in Taiwan. The initiators of the association also gathered representatives from professional associations and related industries, such as Powerchip, AUO, Pegatron, AMPA, TCA etc., to join in the establishment.

The main tasks of the Association are:

1. Assist ICT industry to integrate resources with industry, government, education and research institutes, establish advanced automotive industry value chain, cooperate in R&D of advanced automotive products and technologies, and explore new customers and markets together.

2. Establish the platform to promote cross-industry cooperation and integrate advanced automotive products and technologies to create greater industrial benefits.

3. Bring together international advanced automotive standards and assists communication and system integration industries to meet international standards, thus creating international competitiveness of the industrial value chain.

4. Cooperate with relevant domestic industry groups to hold various forums, seminars, symposiums, participate in various enterprise visits and international activities to strengthen the connection with related industries, explore and develop various new industrial models and business opportunities.

At present, the Association plans to organize "Technical Advisor Committee", "Cross-industry Collaboration SIG", and 3 technical branches, namely, "Automotive Semiconductor SIG", "Smart Cockpit & Intelligent Driving SIG" and "Power/Energy Control SIG" to assist industry communication and standard formulation.
